Taco Mac - Philips Arena in Atlanta

Sloppy service last night at curbside pick up...go to the Cobb Pkwy location for better service. Drove 15 miles one way for wings and ranch dressing and specified ranch..tipped the lady at the pick up counter..get home 15 miles later I have bluce cheese and no ranch!! I Try to tip whether it's warranted or not..i probably will not visit this location again this is the second time this has happend.

Great service. Smoked Pulled Pork Sliders were delicious.

One of the best taco mac locations around. Sit at the bar if you have a chance and enjoy one of the best sports bar experiences you can find. Tony is a wonderful bartender and a great guy. So glad he's there!

Visited Taco Mac thinking I was about to have tacos. Wrong! They have tacos but that's only a small part of their menu. They're basically a sports bar, specializing in craft beer, that also serves food. The food was pretty good but the service could've been better. We stopped for a late night treat (about 1 AM), so that might've contributed to the slow service. Not bad to try them if you're in the area.

Wings were really good along with the burger that I ordered. Only downside to our visit is that the sausage platter came out a bit undercooked. Server was super helpful though and got it corrected for us super fast.

Great atmosphere, TV layout is good and doesn't require you to be a contortionist just to watch whatever game you want.Food is fantastic, one of the best Philly's I've had south Philly. Killer seasoning on the fries!

What is this???The chips are stale, hard and flavorless. The "chili" is Wolff chili from a can. And not even an entire can. The nacho "cheese"... Is not cheese. Are y'all seriously eating this in ATL? Gimme a break. I wouldn't feed this to a starving dog.

Was told CDC regs between booths was different than moving a chair over at the bar. When I asked the manager how they differ from standard regulations from other restaurants like Darden restaurants, he said I don't care. I don't care either and won't give you my business. Sorry your bar staff can't handle a crowd.

I, like others, have given this restaurant a many of chances. So today 7/22/2020 I ordered an order of 10 piece wings extra crispy with all celery NO CARROTS. Wings were not extra crispy at all, infact they were slimy, and there were carrots when I clearly asked for all celery and no carrots. I called and asked to speak to the manager as I could not eat slimy wings. He assured me that he cooked the wings personally and there was no way that my wings were slimy and not extra crispy because “he cooked them.” He proceeded to argue with me about it and offered no compensation or to remake the wings the way I asked them to be made in the first place as a PAYING customer. Stay away from this TRASHY UNPROFESSIONAL DUMP!

Had a wonderful experience and the food was awesome!!! Jessica was our server and she did a great job. We totally cleaned our plates- nothing left to take home! We had the tacos and Mac n cheese (of course), wings, and sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious! Will return when back in Atlanta!

Noni was literally the sweetest. She made our evening! If we lived closer, we would go up there all the time. The food was really good too.

I will make a point of going once a week just to see Hosea. Amazing server and an even better person, consistently remembers my order and makes good conversation. An infectious personality that I love being around. Food is good too but Hosea is the reason to go.

Long past its prime. Not crowded at all. Food selection ok but I got steak tacos and they were hilarious. Hardly any steak. Brew University gets you nothing anymore. Time to ramp it up big time or close and give someone else a try at that prime spot.

Chevy the bartender was great! The bar was clean. The beer was plentiful. The food was pretty good! The Dry Co blueberry lemonade beer tastes nothing like a beer but I’m into it. It’s sweet and 9% alcohol. Don’t fret they have plenty of basic beers as well. The steak tacos had an amazing flavor. I was shocked. The Cobb salad was sooooo fresh. The chicken on the salad was so juicy. Again, I’m shocked. The shrimp and guac wrap was delicious according to my friend. Taco Mac has come quite a way in the food department. Great job guys. I’ll be back. Oh yeah, great location. Have your money ready to pay for parking.

Two words, HOMEMADE RANCH. To live for! Great midtown location, but parking is a hassle. The food tasted good but portions were small. Good seating options & loud enough to have three private conversations at one table.

I've lived in the neighborhood for years and the service here gets worse every time I go. I love the food but c'mon guys. I shouldn't have to wait 30 minutes to be seated when there are clearly a dozen empty tables. Or wait 20 minutes for my drink after ordering. Stopped coming because I'm just so over it.

So our server was Kat and she was amazing. Her waitress skills were impeccable. She was very attentive and never missed a beat. My kids adored her. She made the experience that much greater. The food is always good here.

Okay, this was our first "SIT IN" restaurant experience since being quarantined. It was absolutely Great! My family & I have to wear mask due to my immune system previously being compromised by chemotherapy. Without mentioning they seated us on the far corner near the windows for perfect social distancing. The entire staff wore masks. Our server seemed fairly new because he left out the sides to our order & my husband & I was almost finished eating before receiving our sides. The server never refilled our drinks until we were finished eating. He also struggled with balancing service for the multiple tables in which he was assigned which we were left waiting for what seemed like 25-30 minutes to pay our bill. Overall I would recommend Taco Mac because of their efforts made to accommodate our dinning experience.

The service was less than satisfactory. My party and I waited almost 30 minutes for our drinks.

Awesome Sauce Tacos!! I haven't been here in 5 Years! Great customer service and staff!!

Been going to Taco Mac since 1987. Best Buffalo wings around until late last year when owners sold out and prices went way up.Photos are of what is know as a “flat” and a “drumette” or “drum” (bless those chickens for helping to keep us fed).At Taco Mac each of them little pieces is $1.19, so if you order a single (10 pieces) a soft drink and a fair tip you are out the door at around $20. Dang that is good jack for the new owners, but ain’t gonna be from me any more.

As a Food Blogger my one complaint with this location is that they sold me undercooked tortilla chips. They were greasy and rubber not crispy at all. My wings were okay. I got the three island sauce. My wife for the beef tacos and they were pretty good, they didn’t come with a sides or anything. Our server was great even though she had a full section.

Placed in order through Uber eats and they got the order wrong. The manager was not willing to remake the meal for our satisfaction after spending a decent amount of money on two meals. He was pretty abrasive and did not have good customer service. Save your coins

One of my least favorites spots in midtown. Not sure how anyone can rave about this place. There are a lot of TVs and a large menu, so those are pluses. However, the food is not good, the service is horrible, and the facility is dirty. I recommend going to Hudson Grille across the street. Similar place, but much better.

Shrimp tacos were amazing. Good wings too though minus 1 star as I found a wing that was a bit old.

The buffalo wings had great flavor. Even though the were just the “Hot” flavor, they were seasoned really well. Absolutely delicious. A bit soggy, but I ordered delivery so we’re not going to count that. A few of the drum shaped ones were on the small side, but delicious nonetheless. The coleslaw is classic styled. Healthy serving. Overall, 5/5. You’ve set the bar above average, Taco Mac Metropolis.

I had chicken nachos and they were terrible! Not ever have I had the crumble of chicken melted with cheese to cover the chips so it seem like I had alot of chicken. I am not happy at all, the manager Brian came out to check on me, and I expressed to him how I wasn't happy. He ask me if I wanted more after my neice had to send her Nachos back, heck no!!!!But Thank you. CHOOSE WHERE U EAT WISELY!!! I would prefer for the cook to make my food like they would eat it....

The food and drink were quite good. Darius the bartender was incredible. Even though the bar was busy Darius was attentive to everyone, a gentleman, and made you feel at home. It's people like Darius that make all the difference in the customer experience. He's one of the hardest working people in Atlanta.

I didn't fully believe this location could be as bad as all the previous negative reviews make it seem. It is. Don't take the chance. It's not worth it. There were lots of little blonde hairs baked into the roasted wings - SO gross. I wish I had turned the lights on brighter before I was on my 4th wing.

Food was awful! I ordered a steak salad and it was hardly any meat on my salad! I waited about 25 minutes before a server to greet us. The quality of the food as well as the service was horrible guys. This place I think has poor management skills!

Food was awesome the first time. However the second time it wasnt. Everything was flavor and season. It depends on who cooks the food.

I have tried to give this restaurant many many chances even though I've constantly gotten poor food and service. I rarely, if ever complain about a meal but today noted how poor the shape of my sandwich was in when given to me. I was not asking for a discount or for a new sandwich but pointing out that it was probably the worst presentation I've ever seen and not capable of being help. The manager (JP) took time to come and visit and argue with me and defend the sandwich to the point where I just gave it back to him. Taco Mac should be a positive addition to midtown but I fear it will be close because folks know service and food are some of the worst in town.

Excellent casual dining. Roomy, friendly and a good selection of beers and foods. Plenty of TVs if you are sports oriented and a good mix of booths tables and a communal eating area. Nice. I really enjoyed it

VERY LONG WAIT!!!!! 30 mins for a table 1hr for the food 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾 the restaurant wasn’t even busy more than 1/2 the tables are closed seemed to be fully staffed on the floor 1/2 of the food we ordered arrived the rest was lost I asked for a manager said they had to find him when he came out it was more excuses the best he could come up with was something about all the to go orders he did discount our bill for the wait thx for that

Not bad considering the area its in. Good service.

The food is good, but I've tried to put an online order twice, and both times it's been delayed more than 30 minutes. I had to wait 25 minutes AFTER the stated time for my food, to get my order. I've seen 5-10 orders get delivered ahead of mine, even after being told "you're next" for the last 15 minutes. As of writing this, I'm still waiting for my order - 50+ mins after putting it in.

The food is descent but I've been here about 5/6 times and every single time, we have to wait over an hour for our food. Even after waiting an hour, they still happen to mess up on our order, missing an item or giving us the wrong item. Taco Mac is not a bad franchise but I will never go back to this location.
